Initially started in 1982 with 19 guest rooms and was registered as company named “Interline Beach Hotel (Pvt) ltd”. the property was taken over by a German Hotelier in 1995 and develop as 3 star hotel with 40 rooms, moderating as Hotel Sunset Beach, and Management & Marketing done by Jetwing Hotels Ltd (Leading hotel chain in Sri Lanka) up to year 2002.

At the beginning of year 2007, the hotel has taken over by Two young Sri Lankan who lives in Sweden. And arranged to develop the quality and facility of the hotel

The staff is friendly and helpful &, A few of them still working from the beginning of the Hotel.
